Here you will find tips for your wedding day from my perspective as a wedding photographer.
Avoid choosing flowers with long spikes. They are hard to photograph and intrude into portraits.
Above and beyond the regular logics of choosing a photographer, make sure to choose one you gel really well with.
You need the perfect photographer to capture all the exacting details and effort you have put into this, the very best day of your life…
A wedding gown reflects a lot of light onto your face, especially if it has a full bodice.
When you meet with your wedding photographer, you will have a lot to talk about.
We always recommend that our brides set up a simple snack area at the ceremony venue.
Worst case scenario places the clergy in the aisle with his or her back to the audience, and the bride and groom in front of them.
Plan your reception with your guests in mind and everyone will be happier.
In seeking to achieve your photographic objectives you face some of your potentially worst adversaries in many forms: weather, time, hairdressers, the caterers, organisers and your guests (sometimes including parents).
We encourage our brides and grooms to plan enough time for ultimate photographs.
The first and most important element is making time and being on time.
Brides, relax and enjoy your special day!

Although night-time wedding photos can be very beautiful, in general you need natural light for the majority of your photos after the ceremony. In order to plan what happens when on your wedding day, you should take into account when the sun sets and the amount of time your photographer needs before and after the ceremony etc.
Refer to the handy tools below to assist with this. Use the sunset time of your wedding date together with the time requirements you and I have agreed upon to plan your wedding day.

Do not forget to discuss your own unique interests with your wedding photographer,
